Memphis Wrestling TV Report 1.27.07..well sort of..LOL

----You had to know this would able before long, but my power went out when I was out of town for a show, so my DVD recorder did to record the Memphis Wrestling show. I have posted here at report comprised of spoilers I had and a report on a local message board.

----Bill Dundee/Kevin White beat “Blackout Squad” [Oz/Bishop]. White was in the match almost the whole time beating the BOS almost single handed. White then turned on Dundee after the match.

----Flash Flanagan/Tim Grind beat “Picture Perfect” [Jon Michael/Chris O’Neal]. Grind uses one of the title straps for the win and they retain the Southern Tag Team Titles.

----Jimmy Hart did another phone interview putting over action figures and saying that Hogan wants to wrestle Lawler.

----Corey Maclin did a promo for the new monthly show at Sam Town’s Casino with the announcement of the 3.02.07 date for the first show. That date is going to have a lot of wrestling in this area as Sid Vicious returns to Memphis that night along with LAW in Rector, AR for supposedly Brian Christopher vs Dustin Starr rematch.

----A Battle Royal took place with the last two participates facing each other next week for the Memphis Wrestling TV Title – Derrick King vs Jerry Lawler next week for the belt.

RassleNotes [credit www.hollywoodjimmy .com – not my words this week]: I finally got to see BOS work ethic this week on TV. I wasn’t impressed. The whole makeup deal needs to stop. How can anyone take them serious with makeup on them that looks like a kindergartener drew on their face….Regardless White is heel now and his mic work remains horrible. The attack on Dundee was weak as punches never connected…Can’t Grind afford any ring gear besides those pants that he wears that look like he borrowed from Jethro. I am assuming they are building a Flex return to feud with Grind, but who knows it’s Memphis Wrestling…Pokerface was in the Battle Royal, so hopefully they are done with them being the Clowns, as the Clowns were in the Battle Royal also…Derrick King stated Lawler would be done after next week and he will be the new King. Don’t bank on it.
