WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

11/13 Smackdown TV results from Sheffield, England: CM Punk over R-Truth; Natalya over Mickie James; Drew McIntyre vs. Finlay was a DDQ; Dolph Ziggler vs. John Morrison was a DCO; Beth Phoenix over Lisa Taylor; and The Undertaker over Chris Jericho.

11/12 Raw house show results from Birmingham, England: Big Show won a battle royal; The Hurricane over Paul Burchill; The Miz beat MVP; Melina & Gail Kim over Jillian & Alicia Fox; Chris Jericho over Evan Bourne over; DX & Kofi Kingston over Randy Orton & Legacy; and John Cena over Big Show.

Thanks to Matt Wall who sent along notes from the show: 'More people here than last year, crowd looked to be around the 10,000 mark. Really disappointed in the early efforts, a sloppy battle royal and an awful match between the Miz and MVP, really phoned in. Oddly, Divas tag match was excellent. Top, top efforts from Jericho and the other main eventers – just a pity some of those lower down could have looked a little more bothered about being there. One note of amusement. Kelly Kelly was up in the nosebleed section and asked a quiz question to a little girl which she got right, winning front row tickets. The crowd booed the crap out of it, and her. May be worth mentioning that Jack Swagger did not work this show. Not sure if he is injured but he didn't have a match and didn't even feature in the battle royal.'

11/13 Smackdown/ECW house show results from Leipzig, Germany: John Morrison over Matt Hardy & Dolph Ziggler in a three-way; Goldust & Shelton Benjamin over Zack Ryder & Ezekiel Jackson; Drew McIntyre over Finlay; Mickie James & Katie Lea over Michelle McCool & Beth Phoenix; Rey Mysterio over Batista via DQ after a chairshot; Christian over William Regal; R-Truth over Eric Escobar; and The Undertaker over CM Punk in a casket match.

We're looking for reports from the Smackdown shows tonight and Sunday in Dublin, Ireland to you2us@wrestlingglobe.com.

Dave Meltzer broke the news tonight that Shane McMahon had a meeting recently with Dana White at the UFC offices. White refused to comment when asked about Shane this weekend while promoting UFC 105 in England. Depending on how this plays out this is potentially one of the biggest stories of the decade. The only thing certain right now is that only a handful of people know what took place in that meeting and none of them will be talking about it.

The European tour has been a phenomenal success for WWE grossing many millions of dollars. The Raw crew finished tonight in France while Smackdown has their last house show in Ireland on Sunday. No major injuries to report although many are burned out and looking forward to a few days off after television next week in New York and Philadelphia.

Some of the Raw crew are hoping to arrive in New York City early tomorrow to take in the Metalica concert at MSG ahead of Monday's Raw which is sold out.

Jim Ross wrote on his blog at www.jrsbarbq.com that he could be facing 3 to 4 months of recovery before, as he put it, is "facially ready" to return to television following a recent Bells Palsy attack. He said he is still keeping active running his restaurant business and attending OU football games.

An interesting note in that TV producer Kevin Dunn dumped half of his company stock for just over $800,000 on Wednesday.

The WWE themed episode of Dinner Impossible on the Food Network did a 0.8 rating, up slightly on it's usual number.

Katie Lea worked as a babyface tagging with Mickie James this weekend in Germany. She was actually born Lüneburg, Germany and relocated to England as a teenager for college.

The next UK TV tapings are April 12 and 13 at the O2 Arena in London.

Marty "Boogeyman" Wright is telling people he is returning to WWE in January... During an interview with James Guttman at www.clubwwi.com this past week he said won't be taking his gimmick on the indy circuit because he doesn't want to devalue what he achieved with WWE. He also talked about going MIA recently and buried booking agent Scott Epstein claiming that he told him not to book him in October because he thought he would be back with WWE for Halloween. He said: "For all those people that he said that I committed to, I want to apologize for any inconvenience that Scott put you in, because I certainly didn't agree to those particular date. It's sad enough that my name had to be dragged through the dirt to raise another person's image... I never once, and God is my witness, ever confirmed any dates that Scott said I was supposed to be at." Wright didn't explain why he went MIA in October nor why he didn't return dozens of messages from concerned friends.

TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION WRESTLING NEWS

11/12 Impact TV results from Orlando, FL: Dr. Stevie over Abyss; Alissa Flash over Traci Brooks; Jim Neidhart over Jay Lethal; Awesome Kong & The Beautiful People over Tara, ODB, Sarita, & Taylor Wilde; The Machine Guns & Amazing Red over Homicide, Sheik Bashir & Kiyoshi; Beer Money over The British Invasion in a non-title tables match; and Samoa Joe over AJ styles via KO in a non-title match.

11/12 house show results from Wayne, NJ: Sara del Ray over Alyssa Flash to retain the JAPW women's title; Daffney over Hamada; Suicide over Chris Sabin; D'Angelo Dinero over Eric Young in a non-title match; Amazing Red over Homicide; Taylor Wylde & Sarita over The Beautiful People; and a preview of Turning Point with AJ Styles over Samoa Joe & Daniels in a three-way.

Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins fame was at the show which drew just under 600 with many comps. Homicide gave a nice speech after his match talking about Eddie Guerrero, who passed away four years ago on Friday.

We can confirm that SouthPeak, a video game publisher in Virginia, has acquired assets owned by Midway relating to video games based on the TNA Impact brand. Further details are expected to be released in the near future.

Impact on Thursday night did a 1.1 rating.

A former Knockout is rumored to be returning at Sunday's PPV.

No update on Angelina Love although she continues to collect on indy bookings around the country. She was released from her contract in September when it came to light that her U.S. work visa had expired.

It appears there are no plans to use Jethro Holiday (the former Trevor Murdoch) moving forward as his bio was removed from the TNA website. He hadn't been used on TV since August.

The Feast or Fired gimmick match returns at Final Resolution on December 20.

Kevin Nash is advertised for the January house shows in Westbury, Poughkeepsie, and Danbury so I guess that is his punishment for his outburst a few week's ago at the TV tapings. They also appear to have dropped his search for a new valet.

OTHER WRESTLING NEWS

Brock Lesnar was hospitalized last week in Canada. Dana White revealed tonight at the UFC 105 post-fight press conference that Lesnar is currently undergoing treatment some where in North Dakota for Mono and a disease that was just detected that Lesnar has asked UFC to keep private. White said: "I can't really talk about it right now, but he's in rough shape. He's in really bad shape, and we're going to have to do some stuff to take care of this guy. He is not well and he's not getting any better. We're going to have to send him to the Mayo Clinic or to Scripps, or one of those really good hospitals to figure out what's wrong with this guy." White did specify that Lesnar does not have cancer or AIDS but is now out of UFC indefinitely.

While TNA drew 600 last night in New Jersey, Northeast Wrestling drew 800 at the high school in Waterbury, CT with Bret Hart cutting a promo, and Jim Neidhart, Ken Anderson, Paul London, and TNA's own Christy Hemme working matches. Border City Wrestling also out drew TNA last night in Windsor, Ontario with 900 in the building to see Kurt Angle as special referee in the main event of Scott D'Amore & Petey Williams over Joe Doering & Tyson Dux.

Mantell Becomes SAW Booker!!

----Larry Goodman posted the following over at www.gwhforms.proboards.com. I talked with Dutch early Friday morning and he seemed to be exciting about working with a local group.

Showtime All-Star Wrestling issued the following press release:

Dutch Mantell was offered and accepted the position as head booker for Showtime All-Star Wrestling earlier this week. Paul Adams, who had handled the booking duties for the last two years, will remain as an assistant. Dutch brings decades of valuable experience to the table, and SAW is excited to have him on board as the company continues to grow.

The Dynamite Blast with "Dynamite" Seth Knight

Hey RRO Readers, Seth Knight here. Its my birthday…Or well the day after my birthday if u read this on the 13th and damn it was a great birthday. Got to eat dinner with friends and family and really celebrate. It was wonderful.

RRO had some great columns this week, And I would love to add some insight to them. Let’s check them out…

First up is Jamie Jay’s column entitled “Food for thought” which this week is basically about you guessed it, food. Jamie says that one of the best things to do when you wanna get in good shape is eat. Well, that sounds great. I love to eat. The problem is you have to eat food that is GOOD for you.

Here lies the problem for me because food that is good for you is so so so much more expensive than fatty nasty food. I go to Sonic. A burger is a dollar…wonderful right?...Well the burger is bad for you, we all know this. But the Chicken wrap is good for you and cost 3 dollars. Wouldn’t it be hard to not buy the burger and tots and a drink and an extra burger for 3 bucks instead of the just the wrap? Of course it is. You will be hungry ten minutes later if you get the wrap. Money is one of the main reasons I’m not in the shape I want to be in, because it’s cheaper to eat food that’s bad for you than food that’s good for you.

I’m doing my best to eat fat free turkey and wheat bread and the things I need to eat but I just cant afford to eat 6 times a day. Junk food is a lot cheaper than the stuff I need to eat. I would love to eat sweet potatoes and baked this and fat free that but damn it’s hard to afford to eat right. It’s cheaper and easier to be a fatty and that’s why America is fat.

Yes I asked Jamie about working out. I said, “Jamie, What’s your work out bro?” He said “I eat….alot” I was like Damn, I thought starving myself and running was the key but now, apparently you have to eat to lose weight. Great advice but most people would just go eat nutty buddies or peanut butter crackers or cheesecake instead of things that are good for you or healthy. Jamie Jay says that Dustin is in great shape but he is TOO thin and skinny. I have to agree. He is now a cruiserweight and wrestles a heavyweight style. People his size do moonsault’s, shooting star presses, and all kinds of top rope moves and I cant remember ever seeing Dustin Starr do any kind of flip or flashy move. He’s a heavyweight style wrestler and now he’s small and needs to change his style. Maybe he can work on that next time he gets in a ring whenever he’s done MC’ing hockey games. But how many guys Rey Mysterio’s size do you see who don’t do some kind of flip or Sault or plancha? They are gonna expect that kinda thing from a guy as small as Dustin. But, Don’t worry about working too much before the big show, Not everyone gets hurt before their big night on WWE tv.

On a personal note, I think Dustin Starr is in phenomenal shape, I just think he’s too focused on making it big in WWE. So focused he isn’t wrestling enough around here or in other areas to get a feel for the schedule he will have when and if he makes it on the WWE roster. There’s not many nights off to MC hockey when you work for WWE. I would want to get as much ringwork as possible if I’m planning on working for Vince. But that’s just me….

Gene Jackson’s "Cheap Heat" is a great article. I like how he talks about anything and everything that comes to mind and doesn’t stick solely to wrestling.

He says who gives a fuck about Lord Humongous……I couldn’t agree more. Who the hell is Gary Nation? Who cares if he’s under a hockey mask or if it’s Doink or Kane or Seth Knight? No one cares. No one cares if he wrestles or not and no one cares if Sid is dressed as him. Any jobber can wear a mask and come out saying he’s Lord Humongous but what exactly is Humongous? Most people who play humongous are just Lord Huge or Lord large, not really humongous at all really. I’m not scared of a sixteen year old in a hockey mask.

Brock Lesnar can beat the shit out of anyone in MMA. Fedor has no chance of beating Brock. I think he is the freakin man now. He will be champion for a long time to come. Fedor won't come to UFC cause hes a big fish in a small pond where he is and he knows hes better off not fighting Lesnar and making people wonder. Brock is awesome if you ask me. Hell I think Kimbo could come closer to beating Brock than Fedor. That’s just my opinion.

This is the place where I was going to give insight to Eric Wayne’s “Wayne’s World Party time excellent!! Column" but he must have decided he couldn’t think of anything that didn’t involve him so he didn’t write one this week. L Very sad to hear. I was looking forward to it but apparently it’s not meant to be this week.

It’s been a blast this week. See you next week.

Bad News For IWA!!

----Does everyone remember what wrestling on TV was originally designed for?? It could be best described as a commercial for their weekly shows. Memphis Wrestling aired Saturday mornings at 11:00 AM for many years with high ratings to promote the Monday night show in Memphis, TN at the Mid-South Coliseum. In the RRO age of Memphis Wrestling we have been able to show that high ratings don't always equal good gates, but if you can get constant ratings, then you do have a commercial to put over your up coming arena shows.

----I have been told by a few sources that the "big shows" that the IWA promote - especially the last one - do pretty good paid numbers. As good as normal crowds of 100+ and all paid - that is good considering they let everyone in free for tapings.

----So, what is the bad news?? The IWA skipped a week and did not air anything on 10.31.09. The week before they had set their rating record of a .9 and with over 14,000 viewers in a 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM airing. Last Saturday, November 7, they aired two shows back to back starting at 10:00 AM and ending at 12:00 Noon. The second quarter of the first show drew a .3 [4859 viewers], but all other 7 Quarters that aired scored a whopping ZERO!! The first show scored an official .1 [1620 viewers] and the second hour scored ZERO!!

----Since this is a paid show by the promotion, then it will not be canceled, but the promotion really needs to decide whether it is worth their effort to put on TV. Is it worth their cost?? Is it too soon to decide, since their debut show was on 8.28.09?? A show that is watched by so few people [607 viewers per quarter average]like this past weekend is not good for the crew, the promotion or arena shows.

----I do know that a lot of guys I talk to have their heart into this promotion and want it to succeed. And, even though many feel I am a IWA hater, I would love to see them succeed. They will have to do simple things though like improving their production and settle in for to establish a time slot. This would have been a perfect time for them to "takeover" wrestling in Memphis, with Corey Maclin's version of Memphis Wrestling seems completely done and only rumors of a new Memphis Wrestling getting ready to emerge. If the new Memphis Wrestling debuts in a few weeks, then look for the ratings for IWA to be totally demolished.

----The TV reports of these shows will be posted sometime this weekend or early next week. IWA airs at 10:00 AM tomorrow morning...well I think it does??

Talk about blast from the past, former announcer Sean Mooney had a job interview at Titan Towers earlier this week while WWE crews shot television in England. His presence at HQ already has a lot of people talking, and even some worried that this might be a sign that Jim Ross is not coming back anytime soon. Mooney previously worked for WWE from 1988 to 1993 and was best known for being a backstage interviewer although he also did play-by-play on syndicated shows and hosted numerous Coliseum Video releases. After leaving WWE he worked as anchorman for WWOR-TV in Secaucus, NJ and later WBZ in Boston. His most recent TV work was as a reporter for Fox Sports Arizona covering college sports. He also had his own production company called Moonrise. His last WWE appearance was a taped interview talking about past moments of Raw during the Raw Homecoming pre-show when WWE returned to USA Network in 2005.

Axl Rotten, 38, is currently in WWE-sponsored rehab for substance abuse. He had been promoting a wrestling convention in Baltimore this weekend that was canceled leaving a lot of unhappy vendors and talent.

Rey Mysterio needs knee surgery soon as his ACL and PCL are completely destroyed. He is said to be working through a lot of pain at the moment and his injured joint is virtually bone on bone.

Jack Swagger may have picked up a knock as he has been MIA from the last couple of Raw shows in Europe this week.

Edge talks injuries in a story with no point at http://tinyurl.com/yfzggjv saying that "guys in the WWE wrestle hurt all the time - that's a given". Well, you're not supposed to admit that even when it's true. He said regarding his broken neck a few years back: "Yeah, I thought I was hurt... So I kept going and going, basically. Kept training and wrestling to the point where I almost ended up in a wheelchair. And it all came to a head one afternoon when I was lifting weights in a San Francisco gym. Curling dumbbells. I was curling away when I went to go with my left and - boom - it just wouldn't go. Even when I tried to flex my bicep, it stayed soft. It really hurt. Then next day it looked like someone had gouged out my shoulder. My left arm started disappearing. By the time I went in for an operation it was about half the size of my right arm."

The Sun posted part one of a two-part interview with Rob Van Dam at http://tinyurl.com/ydue3tq basically telling the story of how Vince McMahon nixed the concept of reviving a modern day ECW after creating a buzz from the DVD and One Night Stand PPV in 2005.

Management relayed to talent this week that they can keep their Twitter accounts but were warned of the consequences if they posted anything that leads to negative press against the company. WWE tweets are way down since word got around.

Former Diva Stacy Keibler told the Baltimore Sun that she had her agent contact WWE to inquire about guest hosting Raw in Baltimore on November 30, "and nobody ever got back to us," she said. "So I guess they’re not interested." She noted she is still under a developmental contract to ABC and wouldn't be able to go to TNA if they contacted her.

ECW did a 1.0 rating this week and averaged 1.27 million viewers... Smackdown back on October 30 did a 2.2 rating, one of it's highest ratings of 2009.

Vince has asked the creative team to come up with suggestions for the 2010 Hall of Fame. This happens nearly every year and Vince ignores most of the suggestions and gives the nod to who he decides anyway. Two names that have come up for the past few years are Ted DiBiase and Jake Roberts who would be strong contenders with a lack of big names this time around, and also The Honky Tonk Man, who lives in Phoenix. There is also a lot of speculation regarding The Ultimate Warrior, since the lawsuit is settled, but the chances of that happening are very slim, according to a well-placed source.

The Hall of Fame ceremony will start earlier at 4pm next year, to give production more time to edit the show for a tape delay USA broadcast. They are also nixing the giant stop clock that they had in place in Houston which limited those giving speeches to just a few minutes.

Chris Jericho drew enough heat at the house show yesterday in London to prompt fans to pelt him with DX glow sticks. Fan cam footage at http://tinyurl.com/yeqrouq.

Edge and Eve Torres are currently in Australia promoting the upcoming tour over there. Both will be appearing at the Australian Kids' Choice Awards broadcast live across the country on Friday night.

WWE was granted an extension until November 16 to respond to Jody Hamilton's lawsuit against them for breech of contract for severing ties with Deep South Wrestling when Hamilton ran the group for WWE as developmental.

Monday's Raw from Madison Square Garden with Roddy Piper as guest host has The Undertaker & John Cena vs. Triple H & Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho & Big Show in a three-way tag as the main event, and Melina vs. Alicia Fox for the Divas title. I sense a title change here.

A new Quinnipiac poll shows Linda McMahon is second favorite in the Connecticut GOP primary just 11 percent behind former Rep. Rob Simmons.

TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION WRESTLING NEWS

SoJo Bolt (Josette Bynum) best known for being part of The Kongtourage but used sparingly in recent months was released from her contract. They may still use her in future although she was given the line about creative having nothing for her.

Kurt Angle celebrated all the charges being dropped against him yesterday with more horse riding lessons for his upcoming movie role.

Meanwhile, Trenesha Biggers told media in Pittsbrugh that she plans to re-file charges against Kurt with the DA's office. She claims she has voicemail recordings and other evidence that she was not able to submit before dropping the charges on Monday.

Daniels will be a guest on Sirius / XM’s Busted Open show on Friday at 4:30pm ET promoting Sunday's Turning Point PPV.

Matt Morgan is the latest athlete to donate his brain after death to Chris Nowinski's Sports Legacy Institute.

It's rumored among gaming websites that the license to the TNA game was picked up by publisher SouthPeak Interactive, a company funded by venture capitalists in Virginia.

Lie To Me by Like A Storm will be the theme song for the Genesis PPV in January.

Mick Foley has a cameo on an upcoming episode of the new Super Dave series on Spike.

Chris Grey (Cody Deaner) got married last weekend. Guests included Eric Young, Shawn Spears and his mentor Derek Wylde.

Alez Marvex interviewed Samoa Joe at http://tinyurl.com/y9bkjrt who says he is a big fan of Hulk Hogan. Isn't everyone in TNA right now?

The Register Citizen at http://tinyurl.com/ygb75sg has a story on Christy Hemme coming to Winsted, CT this weekend for an autograph signing.

TNA has just released a new theme music CD at www.shoptna.com.

OTHER WRESTLING NEWS

Ric Flair was married for the fourth time last night in Charlotte, NC. He had kept his plans under wraps until the last minute, even keeping them from long-time friends and two of his children. He made the public announcement an hour before the ceremony on a local sports talk show called PrimeTime with the PacMan. His bride, believed to be in her 40s, is a former waitress called Jackie Beems who he met while partying at Del Friscos Steakhouse. He said when they met she didn't know who he was and have been together for several months following the break down of his last marriage to Tiffany VanDemark which lasted just over two years. Flair and his new bride were due to fly out to Australia today to honeymoon for a few days ahead of the Hulkamania tour.

There were online reports that Flair was involved in an altercation during a Walmart signing due to this photo (http://tinyurl.com/yzeeh5f) appearing on the People of Walmart site. We understand there was no altercation and the dabbing of his lip was for a cold sore he was having an issue with at the time the photo was taken.

The advertised line up for the Hulkamania tour is Hogan vs. Flair on top; Orlando Jordan & Edward Smith Fatu (Umaga) vs. Solofa Fatu Jnr (Rikishi) & Brian Lawler; Sean Morley (Val Venis) vs. Ken Anderson (Mr Kennedy); Lacey Von Erich vs. Koa Marie Turner vs. Kiara Dillon vs. Stephanie Pietz in a Bikini contest; Brutus Beefcake w/Jimmy Hart vs. Heidenreich; Vampire Warrior (Gangrel) & Black Pearl vs. The Nasty Boys; Matt Cross vs. Shannon Moore; and Nick Dinsmore (Eugene) & Pimp Fatha (The Godfather) vs. Rock of Love.

Hogan arrives in Sydney next Tuesday and has a big press conference planned for Wedesday.

Wolfie D Missing??

----I got this in my e-mail today from Wolfie D's Facebook account. As you can see by the texts, Wolfie had a lot of people scared. I thought this was very sad, but it really isn't the first time that something like this has happened. I have had numerous calls & e-mails over the last few years about local guys being missing and such. I hope all turns out for him.

Subject: Wolfie D. is missing?

Warren Wolfe I'd appreciate it if someone knew where Wolf was. He's been missing since 6pm yesterday. Called in before that and didn't show up at work today either. His phone has been turned off for however long and at this point I'm just worried. If you know anything please call me or text http://www.facebook.com/l/63c77;615.480.2048 -Lizzy (3 hours ago)

Warren Wolfe Please if anyone knows how to contact Slacker & Roxanne; those were the last two people Wolf was with. He's been gone since 6pm yesterday and didn't show up at work 2day. His phone has been dead and his daughter and I are worried sick (2 hours ago)

Warren Wolfe Called Slacker & Roxanne, no answer. Left a msg, still no response. Some wrestler msged me their number and their answering machine had their names on it. *sigh* I don't want the cops involved, but at this point he's been missing and hasn't contacted his daughter which is not like him at all. Subject: Wolfie D. Found...

Apparently, he's been found...

Warren Wolfe **UPDATE** Found Wolf and picked him up in God knows where. Anyways, I'd appreciate it if his true friends and family took his addiction seriously. It's not a fucking joke when you see someone destroy themselves and their relationships. Thank God he's at least home and alive. But he's not out of the woods yet.

RassleResults: DCW/EWE St. Jude Cup Dyersburg, TN 11.08.09

St. Jude Cup

Jon Michael over Stan Lee
Derrick King over Cody Melton
Christian Jacobs over Greg Anthony in a submission match
Jon Michael over Derrick King to win 1st ever St.Jude Cup

----I was told every match on this show was awesome, but no camera were present. Damn!!

RassleResults: DCW Dyersburg, TN 11.06.09

DCW Tag Champions Rockin' Randy/Dell Tucker over Oz in a handicap match
Greg Anthony over Blaine Devine
"Picture Perfect" [Jon Michael/Christian Jacobs] over Tim Edwards/Tommy Redneck
Stan Lee over Cody Melton via DQ
Stan Lee over Derrick King via Count Out

Tucker and Randy said they were issuing an open challenge to any tag team ever for Thanksgiving Throwdown... then ran off a list of like 40 names that included Rock N Roll Express, Road Warriors, Hart Foundation and many more...Stan Lee thought that he just had a one on one match with DK this week but was told if he wanted to cash in his #1 contendership then he would have to do it tonight...Cody intentionally DQ'd himself by hitting Stan with the title. DK was left with a almost lifeless Stan the punish but when Stan finally was able to make a comeback, Derrick ran away.

RassleResults: DoggCW Jonesboro, AR 11.07.09 - Rodney Mack New Champion!!

Show starts off like it does every week with DCW Announcers Jeff Perryman and Casey Rinaldi talking about whats going on tonite in the Dogg Pound and the National Anthem plays....

Mike Ward who is now the manager for the Gorillaz comes out and tells the crowd that they jumped Scott Hall before the show and he is in one of the hospitals in Jonesboro somewhere. He calls these two huge men (Chaos and Havoc) and says that since they cont have a match, they want to give anyone in the back a chance to come out and make a name for themselves...Two young trainees of the Dogg Pound come out and try to make a name for themselves...

Match 1: Gorillaz vs. Dogg Pound Trainees
-the Gorillaz dominated these guys. It wasnt even close, these two men are very quick and very athletic in the ring for their size, they are going to be trouble for anyone who gets into their way...Winner of the match The Gorillaz

After the match J.B. Hayes (who is some really rich guy from Jonesboro) comes out with a new tag team in the DCW Arena..and the faces are very familiar. Chelios Adams and Logan Adams aka Acid and Logan Furry have gotten a new manager and a new look..they come out it suits and J.B. Hayes tells everyone that this is the new tag team in DCW to watch out for, so Mike Ward tells J.B. that if they want a piece of the Gorillaz come on in the ring...Hayes smiles and tells Ward that the money isnt right and they wont fight them unless its a BIG PAY DAY for them....

Angelina comes out to her music to a HUGE pop from the DCW crowd...Since finding the error of her ways and started back training with former WWE Women's Champion Jazz, she has looked even better in the ring if thats possible. She is waiting for ther opponent to come out then Poker Face's music hits....Poker tells Angelina that her opponent had some travel delays and that since he was the #1 Contender for JD Kerry's DCW Title, he can do whatever he wants, and he wants to have a match with Angelina....Angelina accepts and we have our 2nd match of the evening!

Match 2: Angelina vs Poker Face
-now most times a woman versus a man match would be very boring, but these two a very good in the ring, they are two of the top performers and entertainers in this area and maybe in the entire United States...Match was amazing, with both Angelina and Poker showing they can both wrestle with anyone in DCW...Poker gains control of the match and is show-boating to the crowd, saying he is the man and the #1 Contender...Angelina reverses a move from Poker and rolls him up for the 1-2-3...winner Angelina! After the match Poker starts beating on Angelina and then Jazz comes out to help her...Then Poker was going to hit Jazz while she wasn't looking with his #1 Contender's Trophy he won, but Rodney Mack comes in and Poker clears the ring...Rodney tells Poker that if he wants to pick on girls, why don't he climb in the ring with someone a little more his size, but Poker fakes like he is going into the ring and goes to the back....

Intermission

Match 3: Jon Allen vs New Tag Team of Chelious Adams and Logan Adams
-Jon Allen is becoming a force to be reckon-with in DCW..this kid gets better and better everytime I see him! I would not be surprised if he got a call from one of the Big Two one day..match was pretty good, Allen kept up with these two guys for as long as he could, but eventually the numbers game catches up with him...these two guys start to pick Allen apart and use this crazy move I have never seen to pick up the 1-2-3...winner Chelious and Logan Adams!!

Intermission
-Ron McClarity comes out to the ring with his big enforcer Boss...He tells the crowd that he wants JD Kerry to come out and tell the crowd what he already knows...Kerry comes out with his DCW Title on his shoulders and it just looks right! This kid is amazing in the ring, he is better than 99% of the talent anywhere in the United States...But when he gets in the ring Ron McClarity drops a BOMBSHELL...JD Kerry's professional wrestling license has been revoke by the Arkansas Athletic Commission and the entire arena goes silent...Ron McClarity tells JD Kerry that he never happened and since he does not exist in the world of professional wrestling, he wants his belt back now! Kerry looks around at the fans and looks at Ron and lays the belt in the ring and leaves, but Ron tells him to go around and hug all of his fans since this is the last time, he will ever wrestle, but he says if he wants to he can go out the back and come in the front and pay to watch him wrestle...After that Rick Ruby is talking to a few of the fans and McClarity is bad mouthing his dad (who is the promoter) about how he is letting bedlam happen in this arena and tells him why should he wrestle with people like this..Ruby snaps and attacks Boss and we have an old fashioned street fight...both men go at it for like 5 minutes until Rodney Mack pulls Rick off of Boss and Poker pulls Boss off of Rick..then Rodney Mack comes into the ring and asks McClarity why is he being so down on JD Kerry..he tells the DCW Arena why Kerry's license got pulled and that its not really anybody's fault, just something that happens...Mack tells him that maybe he should fight him, even though he isn't the #1 Contender but aint nothing between us but air...McClarity hits Mack with the DCW Title and busts him open and we have a match...

Match 4: Ron McClarity vs Rodney Mack
-match was phenomenal..when you put the best heel around these parts in the ring with the best face in these parts, you get an amazing match! I said it last week, not too many people are as good in the ring as Ron, but Rodney is amazing too! Its like having two legends in the ring at the same time..man can these guys go in the ring! These two men went back and forth in the ring for about 20 minutes or so...Ron controlled a lot of the match b/c Mack is bleeding bad! Mack starts to make his come back with a big powerslam but Ron kicks out...then Mack goes to hit McClarity but hits DCW Senior Official Tim Daniels and Boss comes in to help McClarity but Mack hits Boss with a spear then hits McClarity with a spear and gets the 1-2-3...winner and new DCW Champion Rodney Mack! Jon Allen and Ruby come out and hold Mack on their shoulders...

Crowd was around 160...they got an amazing show!!

Credit: Jeff Perryman

----I was told Mack was bleeding bad and real weak after the match...Don't like the idea of stripping Kerry of the belt!! I also hate the idea of Hall no showing and the explanation being he was beat up before the show.

Cheap Heat by Gene Jackson - 11/10/09

11/10/09

Well hopefully I will be back to posting regularly now.....I'm gonna be honest...some of it will be pro wrestling related.....some may be MMA related....some may just be my personal rantings about any number of topics...work, movies, tv, women, and just life in general. When you come across the things that don't strike a chord with you feel free to pass them over....hopefully at different times in different columns there will be at least SOMETHING for everyone. Let's get started with this week's topics.

THE Previous CHEAP HEAT

Ok, so in my last column I went into a completely shoot tangent about my upcoming divorce and the possible fallout and upsides to it.....I want to thank all the guys who took the time to contact me and offer their words of encouragement....Garry White was especially helpful and it meant at lot that he took the time to say what he said...but many others did as well be it through phone calls, email, texts, my best friend Neil Taylor, Axeman, Coach BT, D-Rock, and a bunch more......thank you so much for taking the time to do that....you don't know how much it means to realize that there are people out there that still care about you.....and I don't care what anyone says....I've heard it said countless times that "there are no friends in the wrestling business"......well I have found that not to be true it's just like anything else....yeah, I've met a lot of shady sorry ass people in the wrestling business but I've also made some of my very best friends who would do anything to help me out (and have many times) so don't buy into that B.S. that all "workers" are bad people.....it's just like everything else a certain few fuck it up for everybody. Anyway....back to the original topic...the divorce will be under way soon and I will be as they say, "free at last, free at last, thank God Allmighty, I'm free at last!"........Now is the hard part.....I'd really like to move back to Mississippi but I can't transfer my job over there and I'm making too much money to just walk away and start over......so I think I may be staying put here in Albertville (since the EX will be moving away)....I have a lot of good friends here so it should be cool....and now without a wife nagging me, I can come to Mississippi plenty to wreak havoc on wrestling shows and hang out with my friends and family.

TFW

So Friday night I went along with my buddy Ned to the TFW show in Skyline, got to see a few people I knew....meet a few I didn't .....and had a great time catching up with my friend Tommy Dobbs that runs that joint.....hell I even ran into Special Ed down there....it was great......I sat out there and did commentary most of the night with Axeman until I saw some injustice I just couldn't tolerate anymore so I went ringside to argue on my friend's behalf and somewhere in the commotion apparently a fan threw some sort of object into the ring knocking Johnny Morton out cold!! Not sure what the object was but in the interest of Morton's safety Neil quickly covered Johnny for the 1-2-3! If I could be serious for a moment.....kids, please do not throw objects into the ring, your gonna kill one of these jobbers one of these days....not to mention what if it had hit the champ......well I mean obviously he's the champ, he wouldn't have sold it but it would have looked bad at the very least.

Other brief TFW notes.....I know they've been criticized in the past for their "accomodations" but in this building they are in now it's a pretty sweet set up. I liked it.......A few things....I sat around in the dressing room thinking I must be in a movie called "Honey, I shrunk Matt Morgan".....turns out it was David Andrews! Dave was much bigger now than he was the last time I saw him during his AJ Styles phase and I have to say he looked better in the ring.....He was also cordial and nice in the dressing room after I'd been a total dick to him in the past in person and in my column....so the dude has won my respect cause he came right up and shook my hand and there was no heat and you have to give the guy credit for that. My only complaint was I finally make it to a TFW show again and my boys Chris Styles and Josh Matthews weren't even there! Oh well, I hope to be back SOON!

QUICK MMA NOTE

The Strike Force card Saturday night was better than expected....one of the fights really sucked but the Fedor match delivered, the guy got some good shots in on him but Fedor is a freakin' machine....it sucks he won't go to UFC and fight Lesnar....I'm a mark for Brock, but I don't think he could take Fedor at this stage....now if the fight doesn't happen for another 5 years or so....may be a different story.

IN OTHER NEWS

The war of words rages on about who is the REAL LORD HUMONGOUS.......The real question here folks isn't who is the real Lord Humongous, is it Gary Nations or Sid Jr? The real question is WHO GIVES A FUCK??? It's a played out gimmick from the 80's that hasn't gotten over in YEARS!! Seriously, who gives a shit? Just flip a damn coin and the loser has to be Doink the Clown from now on or Mr. Wrestling 43 or whatever.....give it a rest already....honestly.

CHEAP HEAT RADIO

So I know I've had several false starts in recent months trying to resurrect Cheap Heat Radio all of which have been due to my wife or kids or someone causing conflict well by the end of the year it will be just be me and my awesome dog, Lola here and there will be no reason not to put C.H.R. back on the air......but I'm gonna warn you if this happens, it will be a new format.....no more just straight interviews....there will be interviews but I will try to have at least one co-host to help out and I plan to do a lot of the round table discussions since I've received hundreds of cards and letters demanding it! (ok...not really it was actually just Psycho who mentioned it at IHOP the other night that he likes to listen me, Gary, and Neil bullshit on there...but everyone knows Psycho has his finger on the pulse of the wrestling fans....so if he likes it then dammit it must be a good idea). So anyway be on the look out for that....it's gonna happen for real this time I swear.....If you have a topic you'd like to discuss on the air that you think others would find interesting regardless of whether your a worker or a mark (in most cases.....same difference) email me at genejackon95@gmail.com and we'll try to make it happen.

I've got some ideas for some upcoming columns so as I said look for more activity now that I'm single once again.....and if you haven't already be sure and add me on myspace..... myspace.com/genejackson95
Also, I've finally got me one those little bios to post at the end of my column like everyone else.

Gene Jackson is a long time columnist for RRO, a former wrestler, and an all around swell guy......Gene also hosts Cheap Heat Radio that can be heard at www.rroradio.com......Gene is also working on a book on the career of "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert, if you have any stories, pics, or any other info of interest please contact him, Gene can be reached by email at genejackson95@gmail.com.

11/9 Smackdown/ECW house show results from Cardiff, Wales: The Undertaker over CM Punk in a casket match; Mickie James won a Diva battle royal ;Finlay & Yoshi Tatsu over Zack Ryder & Ezikiel Jackson; Drew McIntyre over Matt Hardy; Cryme Tyme over The Hart Dynasty; John Morrison over Dolph Ziggler; Michelle McCool over Mickie James; Christian over Goldust; and Rey Mysterio over Batista.

11/9 Raw TV results from Sheffield, England: Alicia Fox over Kelly Kelly; Sheamus over David DeVille; Evan Bourne over Jack Swagger; Randy Orton over Mark Henry; Ricky Hatton over Chavo Guerrero; and DX over JeriShow.

Smackdown and ECW was taped earlier today in Sheffield, England with Christian vs. William Regal (told this is a great match going 15 minutes before a hot crowd) for the title headlining ECW; and John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler for the IC title; and The Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho headlining Smackdown. There was also a Raw house show today in Cardiff, Wales. We're looking for reader reports to you2us@wrestlingglobe.com as well as reports from the shows this coming week in London and Birmingham, England; plus France, Germany and Ireland.

A SEC filing today reveals that Linda McMahon resigned as a Director of WWE on November 6 citing, "continuing demands on her time resulting from her campaign for the United States Senate, representing the State of Connecticut."

The Ricky Hatton-Chavo Guerrero match on Raw received media play all over the UK including television and national newspapers. Chavo on his Twitter earlier today said: "Just to let you know... The punch Was REAL!" That comment would have gotton him fired 25 years ago.

Sheamus' opponent on Raw was David DeVille, the current British Wrestling Heavyweight Champion at night, and a legit footman to Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace during the day.

Undertaker-Punk was opening match last night at the Smackdown show in Cardiff so Taker could make the finish of Raw.

Raw did a 3.1 rating and 4.25 million viewers, down on last Monday, and it's lowest rating of 2009. This can't be good news for the creative team who have to sit on a plane with Vince for the next 10 hours.

The Hurricane vs. Paul Burchill in a mask vs. loser leaves town was bumped to TV next week in Philadelphia.

The WWE stock closed today at $15.30 on the NYSE surpassing it's 52-week high. Likely a few celebrations in Titan Towers as certain people just scored bonuses.

The new Hulk Hogan DVD was advertised today before the live crowd at the TV tapings.

Maryse is working off ring rust this week in Tampa.

Jim Ross posted a new blog at www.jrsbarbq.com. I assume this matter of fact was aimed at the talent relations department: "Anyone who puts exact physical requirements on any prospective new wrestler is never going to be class Valedictorian from where I sit. Stars come and have for decades come in all shapes and sizes. Stars have many intangibles that cannot be measured in an 8X10. Stars have to be athletic, in shape, have a wrestling aptitude, and an overwhelming work ethic. They must be students of the game. No one should be disqualified from consideration just because they are less than 6 feet tall and don't weight north of 230 or so. If I started listing all the HUGE stars that were under 6 feet tall, we would assemble one of the greatest rosters of all time."

The WWE.com story on Jamie Noble was updated to where he has now decided to "retire." Noble has been working behind the scenes as a producer for some time now.

New York Giants legend Lawrence Taylor, who one headlined a Wrestlemania against the late Bam Bam Bigelow, was arrested this past week on charges of leaving the scene of a traffic accident. He claimed he thought he had hit a guard rail, not another vehicle, according to the Associated Press.

A reminder that Dinner Impossible with Jim Ross, The Miz, Santino Marella, Stephanie McMahon and Gail Kim airs tonight at 10pm ET on The Food Network.

One of our readers spotted Kozlov at the Strikeforce event in Chicago on Saturday night headlined by Fedor vs. Brett Rogers. Apparently he was with the M-1 entourage. Kozlov, under his real name of Oleg Prudius, was a 2005 USA Open Heavyweight Sambo Champion and former USKBA International Heavyweight Grappling Champion.

One of our readers in the UK is selling his WWE DVD collection on eBay; 27 DVDs, mostly documentaries and matches. Quite the collection at http://tinyurl.com/yfvfe53.

TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION WRESTLING NEWS

11/9 house show results from Nashville, TN: Suicide over Homicide & D'Angelo Dinero in a three-way; Hernandez over Kip James; Tara over Velvet Sky; Abyss over Rhino in a Monster's Ball match; Bobby Lashley over Scott Steiner; Beer Money & Frank Wycheck over World Elite; and AJ Styles over Samoa Joe with Tennessee Titan players as lumberjacks. This was a charity show raising $130,000 for The Boys and Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee.

Kurt Angle was cleared of all the charges, including an assault charge, brought against him by Trenesha Biggers (Rhaka Khan). Prior to a hearing this afternoon in Coraopolis, PA Biggers told the local ABC news affiliate that she was terrified by the alleged assault she suffered and feared that Kurt was going to kill her. However, the major point of contention in the case was that Biggers was still living with Kurt at his house nine days after the alleged assault took place. Biggers claimed that was because she feared for her job with TNA. An emotional Kurt said after the hearing he would never hit a women because his mother brought him up the right way.

Kurt's attorney, Michael F. Santicola, released the following statement: "Kurt Angle was completely and utterly exonerated of all charges of assault which was alleged to have occurred in August of 2009. A Preliminary Hearing was held today before District Magistrate Mary Murray in which Mr. Angle’s accuser, Trenesha Biggers, was given a chance to tell her tale of assault. At the conclusion of her testimony, the Judge summarily dismissed all charges as baseless. Ms. Bigger’s story did not make sense, was not believable, and was shown to be untrue. Her actions immediately after this alleged incident was completely inconsistent with someone who experienced what she has claimed. Mr. Angle did not even have to testify, the story of Ms. Biggers herself was enough to have these charges dismissed. During this long ordeal, Mr. Angle has maintained that Ms. Biggers is a disturbed and confused individual who falsified a story about him due to his celebrity status. When this story actually found the light of day, it was shown to be inaccurate. It is unfortunate that the legal system allowed the case to exist for 3 months when we have known all along that Ms. Biggers was not a credible person in this instance. Mr. Angle wants to move forward with his life and thanks the individuals who believed in him and supported his position of innocence."

WTAE TV in Pittsburgh has an interview airing tonight with Biggers giving her account of her relationship with Kurt Angle.

Daffney returned to the ring with Shimmer this past weekend in Berwyn, IL. She worked a tag and short singles match which was more storyline advancement than anything physical. This was her first time back in the ring after suffering a concussion with that insane bump last month at Bound For Glory.

Hulk Hogan called into the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show on Monday claiming he is working on bringing Randy Savage and Steve Austin to TNA. Well, Austin is still on the WWE payroll, and from someone close to Savage: "Macho is retired, nothing is going to change... Hogan’s just doing what he does best and hyping his move to TNA. Macho looks after his Dad, and has no interest in wrestling." Hogan also talked about Bubba joining him on the TNA writing team and claimed Vince McMahon wanted him to guest host Raw at MSG on November 16 but he turned him down because he was still mad at Vince about his $700,000 payoff for Wrestlemania 18, or some bulls--t along those lines.

Samoa Joe was scouting talent with Terry Taylor at the TNA offices in Nashville on Monday. Joe wrote on his Twitter: "Dear wrestlers, f--k you're intro video include actual wrestling on you're DVD's... No lights and fuzzy camera = thrown out DVD. Please send it in watchable, common sense." Also at the TNA offices on Monday was Abyss wrapping gifts and Homicide answering phone calls. I guess this is what Dixie means about being a team player.

The Slam Wrestling website at http://tinyurl.com/ylk9c9c has a story on Petey Williams who is still dumbfounded as to why TNA released him. He said: "My contract was up for renewal in January 2009 and everything seemed to be going well... Out of the blue, I received a call from head of talent relations for TNA, Terry Taylor, saying my contract was not going to be renewed. I still don’t understand why the contract was not renewed. It may have been a money issue since I was the highest paid guy in the X Division. They also mentioned freshening up the roster but I am one of the youngest guys so that doesn’t make sense. I guess more than anything, I would like an explanation why I was released." He said he had offers from WWE, but didn't want to go to developmental in Tampa as he has mouths to feed and bills to pay. "If I had the same offer five years ago I would have agreed," he said. "Now that I am married with a mortgage, it changes things."

In an effort to push ticket sales a number of gimmick matches were announced for the January UK tour dates including Ultimate X in London at the same venue they broke their attendance record last year. More info at www.tnawrestling.com.

Stacy Keibler won the Baltimore Sun Celebrity Smackdown contest over a bunch of other Baltimore celebrities including Mayor Sheila Dixon, former MBL star Cal Ripken Jr., swimmer Michael Phelps, and violinist Marin Alsop. Keibler has a cameo tonight on Dancing with the Stars.

Food For Thought "Dustin Starr and His Diet Journal" by Jamie Jay

Jamie Jay

Hello Everyone!

Ok, first off I'm not on here knocking Dustin's blog! [CLICK HERE] I've read it & it got me to thinking about the whole workout thing? My take on this is Dustin is doing a good thing by trying to help people out & give them insight on what he's doing to get in shape or stay in shape! I've always tried to stay in pretty good shape & take care of my body, but the past year I have really put some weight on. I've always been big on working out my abs! (Which I've let get away a little!) The abs have always been the thing that has stood me out on indy wrestling shows though.

I like what he says about cardio then weights! Thats very true! To build muscle, you've got to sweat, so get the cardio (sweat) going. Then hit the weights! Seth Knight asked me about a month ago what my workout was? I told him "Eating"! That's right, you've got to take in the carbs & protein to give you the energy & supplements for building muscle! It really just depends on what that person is looking for, losing weight, gaining weight, getting ripped? There's lots of things to take in consideration! But, it all comes back to eating! You've got to eat & eat plenty! You don't however have to eat what Dustin Starr in putting in his diet journal! If you want to put on muscle & get ripped at the same time, you don't want to do what Dustin is doing! Dustin is losing weight & getting ripped!

I've think I've figured out the key thing to getting in shape or staying in shape! Keeping active! You can't workout for 30 minutes & then eat like a pig & lay back on the couch for the rest of the night! You've got to get you're scheduling down pat! You've got to stick with it & stay true to yourself! Never cheat yourself! Its you're body, so don't cheat, keep it in you're sights, the goal that you're pushing for!

Here's three of my tips, if you want to gain weight - EAT, WORKOUT, you wanna lose wieght - EAT HEALTHIER, CARDIO, WORKOUT, you wanna get ripped - EAT REAL HEALTHY, CARDIO, CARDIO, WORKOUT!!!

That last tip, get off the couch & do something productive, go for a walk, run, something! Just get you're body moving! Now you can chew on that! Then run! lol!

Opening match JR Manson w/ Tim Edwards vs Ike Tucker w/ Brian Steele Tim interferes and starts to cost JR his match. Tim also does his finish on JR at the end of the match. Ike comes back to the ring and tries to break it up and then Tim hits Ike with his finish. Out of nowhere Tatt2 comes running to the ring and nails Tim until Tim leaves the ring. Tatt2 later has his match with Tim Edwards.

Tommy Redneck vs Seth Knight (Seth comes out with a surprise update from Mr. Baker saying that this match will be a no D.Q.) Bishop interferes with the match and costs Seth knight his win. Bishop hits Seth with a steel chair and walks out then gets on the mic and tells Seth that he was just an obstacle and has now been taken out. Redneck takes advantage of a broken Seth Knight and goes for the win.

Interview w/ Mr. Baker and Stan Lee (Baker comes out and calls Stan to the ring rehashing over his unfortunate encounters over the past few weeks. He then tells him that he has more bad news and that Derrick King has more words to say) - cut to video interview w/ DK. Baker asked Stan if he has ever thought that Derrick is right and that Stan should just give up. Stan then takes the mic and says that it is true that he lost his chance for the DCW championship, he has lost his grandmother, he was in a wreck and totaled his car, but the one thing that he hasn't lost is "will power." Stan then asks for a favor. He asks for one of the most brutal matches in wrestling history. Stan asks for a Last Man Standing match. Baker grants his wish.

Tatt2 vs Tim Edwards Tatt2 wins

DCW tagteam champs (Dale Tucker/Randy) come out and plug they are the best and they will prove it at Thanksgiving Throwdown. Thanksgiving Throwdown will be a 3 day event 26th, 27th, and 28th.

Cody, Tucker, and Randy vs. CJ, Jon Michael, and Stan Lee.

RassleResults: ASWF Tuckerman, AR 11.07.09

Our should would begin with T-Bone Terrence Ward and Commissioner Rickey Rowland coming to the ring for the playing of the national anthem. Before the anthem was played they would ask everyone to please stand for a moment of silence for the victims of Ft. Hood, Texas.

After the anthem was over Commissioner Rowland would call Austin Lane to the ring for a contract signing. Rowland would also call up Betty Butler of Newport, ASWF's Legal Adviser. Austin would sign the contract and be given a rematch for the ASWF Title tonight.

Our first match was Joshua Cross taking on "Mr. Muscle" Morgan Williams. Morgan would start off nice, keeping Cross close to the mat. Morgan would stay consistent and not let Cross back up. Cross would finally get in the game, but the dirty way. Cross would low blow Morgan and begin to choke him right in front of the referee. Cross would then take to the top turnbuckle and plant a Moonsault on Morgan and get the 1, 2, 3.

The next match was for the ASWF Title. Demon X, ASWF Champion, would go toe to toe with Austin Lane. Lane would be at a disadvantage with Johnny Hawk waiting in Demon X's corner. Hawk would use every moment of the referee being distracted to take out his aggression on Lane no matter how much Austin tried to counter. He would then toss the chain to Demon X while Hawk distracted the referee and knock Lane out cold. Demon X would get the win via pinfall.

The Establishment would take to the ring and begin to talk trash to the crowd and complain about Tommy Wayne losing his X-Division Title to Christopher Lee. They would send a message to Lee that this was not over.

The third match of the night would be for the ASWF Tag Team Titles. CM2 (Cody Murdoch/Cason McClain) would take on Mark Wolf and Chuck Fears. These guys would waste no time getting this match started. Mark would take control and not let up, but CM2 would quickly get things back in their favor. Unfortunately the match would take a turn for the worse for Mark and Chuck as Murdoch would use a Tag Team Belt and hit Mark in the head knocking him out. Murdoch would roll him up and get the win. CM2 would begin an assault on Chuck and Mark along with the rest of The Establishment. LSD would finally come to the aid of Mark and Chuck stopping The Establishment dead in their tracks.

Two ASWF Hall of Famer's and Originals would go at it in a singles match. Idol Bane would take on "Hot Rod" John Ellison. Idol would begin this match like a man of his size would do...taking control. But Hot Rod would not let Idol win that easy. Both Hot Rod and Idol would exchange control of the match several times before Idol Bane would plant his finisher and win the match via pin fall.

A #1 Contendership for the ASWF X-Division Title would be next with Tommy Wayne taking on Seth Sabor. Both Wayne and Sabor are former X-Division Champions. Seth would start off on fire early on, but lose his grip. Wayne would bring the match back in his favor, and maintain the control of the match. He would low blow Sabor and hit him with the title, all with the referee being distracted on the outside. He would roll Sabor up and get the pin.

A Triple Threat for the European Title was our Semi-Main Event. X-Kaliber, European Champion, VS Kid Krazzy vs "The Irish Dragon" Scott Fury. Scott Fury is a former European Champion who beat Matt Riviera for the title when it was first introduced in the ASWF. This match would take its tole on all three competitors. X-Kaliber would show sheer dominance in this match, determined to keep his title. In the end X-Kaliber would walk out the Champion with a pin over Scott Fury.

Our Main-Event of the evening was for a $5000 cash prize for the winner of the Battle Royal. When it was all said and done all three members of LSD would be left. After asking the crowd what they should do they decided with the crowd and split the cash amongst themselves. But when told to open the envelope they would find a piece of paper saying "your screwed". The Establishment would come out of the back laughing and showing the money they took before the Commissioner took it to the announcers table.

Remember to check out the ASWF at www.aswfwrestling.comand check out interviews after the show from X-Kaliber on his title defense, Austin Lane on his return, Idol Bane on the ASWF Title, and Commissioner Rowland's response to Idol Bane, at www.youtube.com/valiantarena.

8th Match: Cameron Valentine, accompanied by "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock vs Chief Coyota, with full Indian headdress. Only problem was...he was white. Before match started, "Hollywood" Jimmy got in Coyota's face and said, "You Indians didn't do nothing, but rip me off at the casino! Ya'll give me back my five thousand dollars, right now!" Cameron Valentine won, via submission, with the Figure-four leglock. After the match, "Hollywood" Jimmy whooped Coyota with his cane.

9th Match: Doink The Clown made his way out to the ring. Then, Sheik Mohammed and Mo' Money came out, saying they've got all this money and if Doink takes out CJ Cash, and made sure that he left on a stretcher the money would be his, but he has to be taken out on a stretcher. If Doink loses, he will have to change his name to Doink "The Evil" Clown. CJ Cash out. CJ Cash made quick work of Doink, kicking him in the stomach and rolling him up for the win in record time. After the bell, Doink popped up and stole Mohammed and Mo' Money's money and ran. No word if Doink will ever be known as Doink "The Evil" Clown.

RassleResults: EPW Booneville, MS 11.07.09

At the beginning of the show, Bonecrusher came out of the back and announced that he would NOT be putting the EPW title on the line against Chris Lexxus because he was not given the required seven day notice by EPW. Lexxus had won a battle royal the previous week to become #1 contender for the title. Bonecrusher said that Lexxus would have to defeat Justin Rhodes first to earn a shot at the belt. EPW Commissioner Kross reluctantly agreed, because he was not able to notify Bonecrusher in time, and made the match between Rhodes & Lexxus for later in the show.

Chazz Stone defeated JR Mauler by DQ when Pure Destruction (Cody & Brody Hawk) interfered in the match and beat JR down. Brody said JR "should mind his own business."

Chris Lexxus defeated Justin Rhodes to earn a shot at the EPW Championship.

Pure Destruction came to the ring to run their mouths and said that they had the night off because there was no competition in the building for them. JR Mauler came out of the back and said he had found a partner and that there would indeed be a tag team match, and brought out Cassanova Kid. So it was PD vs. JR Mauler & Cassanova Kid. Mauler & Kid defeated PD and were given the Tag Team belts by Referee KC, but PD said they had never agreed to put the belts on the line. EPW Commissioner Kross gave the belts back to Cody & Brody, but said they would put them on the line the following week against JR & Kid. Cody & Brody said no way, because they have 30 days to defend the belts. Kross told them they would put the belts up next week - or he would fire them.

Next was Buzz Harley vs. "Pimpin" Antoin Smooth - 3 rounds of boxing - special referee was Kross - Buzz defeated Smooth by KO in the third round.

"Big Daddy" Neno defeated Rajah in a fan's lumberjack strap body bag match. This was, simply, a fun and very entertaining match. Neno was hardly touched by a belt when he was thrown out of the ring, but Rajah got the crap beat out of him, lol.

Final event on the card was ladies mud wrestling. This was an elimination mud match, with the winner to be crowned Miss EPW. It was wild, wet, & muddy, and the match ended in controversy. Melissa and Brittany were the last two in the match, and both went to the floor at the same time. Referee KC was not able to determine which one touched first and called Kross to the ring. Kross said 5 more minutes, so the girls went at it again - and eventually went to the floor together - again. KC declared Brittany the winner, but Melissa disputed the results, saying that Brittany's feet touched the floor first so Brittany should be eliminated. Kross was again called to the ring and declared Brittany the winner, and was slapped by Melissa.

It was a wild and fun night at EPW. I counted 121 in the crowd, and they were all treated to a great show.

The card at EPW this Saturday night, 11-14, includes:

The ceremony to crown Brittany Miss EPW.

Bonecrusher defends the EPW Championship against Chris Lexxus.

Pure Destruction defends the Tag Team belts against JR Mauler & Cassanova Kid.

Ladies wrestling returns to Booneville as BB takes on Queen Destiny.

It all happens at the EPW Arena on Hwy. 145 in Booneville this Saturday night. Bell time is 8:00 p.m. It will be another wild night, so don't you miss it! Remember, you never know what will happen at EPW, so you need to be there!
