NEW invades West Virginia!!

----Notes from an observer at the show this past weekend.

NEW invades West Virginia!!

This past Sunday 304 Wrestling held three tv tapings in Milton, WV featuring NEW talent: The INKcredible Tatt2, Kid Nikels and Eric Wayne.

Tatt2 had a quick match with a guy that resembled The Kid from Newbern. Good reaction for Tatt2's return and a lot of quick action to start it off. You could tell that Tatt2 is lightyears ahead of this guy and as it turns out much tougher. Stiff kicks to the back from Tatt2 before finishing it with the 901 and a springboard 450 splash. After the match the guy came to the back not only complaining but visibly upset at Tatt2 for "kicking him like he was green" and being too stiff. The word shoot was brought up and when Tatt2 tried to check on the guy he threatened him saying he kicked him in the chest and made his arm go numb. For the record, Tatt2 didn't work any differently than he normally does and actually slowed down for the guy.

A couple of matches later and we get Kid Nikels(who didn't have ring music and came out to "Like a G6") vs. Eric Wayne(also without ring music, coming out to "Hardknock Life") in the best bout on the card. Typical stuff from these guys with a Mr. Clean, Stone Cold wannabe, and even a Gillberg chant at Nikels. Armdrags and stiff kicks from Wayne. Wayne misses a splash in the corner and took a bump over the top to start the heat. Wayne's nose starts bleeding at this point. Wayne counters an abdominal stretch with a DVD. Big boot takes Wayne back down. Crowd had mixed reactions because they didn't know the guys and this match was so much different than the rest of the card. Finish came when Eric hit a spinebuster and goes up top. Brief struggle til Nikels is pushed off and Eric hits a diving headbutt for the pin.

This show featured a LOT of untrained guys and you could hear them calling spots from the 3rd row. Not a good show but the NEW guys stood out against everyone else. I've heard that this crew isn't the normal 304 crew...not sure why they picked these guys for a tv show but for some reason the crowd was into most of the matches. Strange audience.
