Rodney Grimes Retires...Amen!!

----As reported one www.wrestlingnewscenter.com on Saturday morning by Jimmy Blaylock.

Last night at the SPWA show Rodney Grimes shocks the fans by telling them he’s retiring from the wrestling business after almost 20 years in the wrestling business. Rodney had own CWA which was very successful over the last 20 years. He’s brought in Dusty Rhodes, Jerry Lawler, Jackie Fargo, Road Warrior Animal, Road Dog, Don Bass, Tommy Gilbert, Doug Gilbert, Tommy Rich, and the list goes on. Rodney also had his show in Corinth Mississippi for several years and always had a big crowd packing out the American Legion every Friday night.
Rodney decided to retire last night in while in a wrestling match with his partner Michael Gilbert against The French Canadians in the main event. The crowd was saddened by the announcement of his retirement. Rodney brought a chair in the middle of the ring after the match and Rodney proceeded to pull off his boots and made the announcement in front of about 200 wrestling fans in Selmer Tn. Rodney had some great shows over the years and will be missed from wrestling. We here at Wrestling News Center wishes Rodney Grimes the best.
