RassleResults: NBW:VENDETTA. 7.28.07 - NEW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!

Vendetta opened up with a 5 Way elimination match featuring Crazy Train, "Straight Shooter" Gunner Thompson, The Sicilian Kid, Buckwheat and NBW newcomer Urban Commando.
Thompson eliminated Buckwheat after a sick version of the Muscle Buster. Thompson then eliminated Kid after his version of "Shock Treatment". Crazy Train hit Commando with a "Tomahawk chop, Thompson cut Train off and then pinned Commando. Thompson then went after Crazy Train, going for a "Modest Bomb", but Train slipped out and caught Thompson with a schoolboy eliminating him and winning the match........looks to me that someone has been watching too much TNA.

"The One Man Wrecking Crew" Tank defeated "The Enforcer" Mark Justice in the finals of the NBW Lucky 7 Tournament. this match started off unusual. during the in ring introductions, Justice was on the 2ND rope posing for the crowd, before jumping off and injuring his knee. everyone thought Justice was hurt with all the security guards even getting in the ring to help take Justice to the back. Tank, being a good sport, went to check on Justice and when he did, Justice nailed Tank in the side of his knee, and let everyone in the arena know just how twisted he can be. Justice was playing opossum all along. Justice worked over Tanks knee for a good 5 or 6 minutes with Tank trying to come back on him, but every time Tank began any kind of offense, Justice would go right back and attack the knee of the big man. Justice was going for a chop block, when from out of nowhere, Tank turned around and took Justice's head off with a clothesline. Tank then delivered a HIGH backdrop, that left Justice wondering if he was ever coming down. by this time, the wrestler formerly known as Slim Pickens came to the ring. Justice raked Tanks eyes and held him up so Pickens could nail him, but before he could, Justice shoved Tank down and told the referee to watch this, as Pickens nailed Justice and the referee called for the bell. Justice won the match by Disqualification........or so he thought. As Justice and Pickens was working over Tanks already injured leg, NBW Commissioner Allen Walker made his way to ringside and got the mic telling Justice that since this was the tournament finals, Justice was not going to get an easy win like he did to get into the finals, and that this match was now a no DQ match and ordered the match to restart. Kilo came out and dragged Pickens to the locker room, and Tank caught Justice as he turned around and was going for his "Detonator" but Justice lunged out of it and nailed the leg of Tank again. Justice then came running at Tank for a clothesline, which Tank ducked and caught Justice coming off the ropes and hit him with the "Warhead" sitdown chokeslam for the 1,2,3.

Team X beat The Treat Connection to not only keep their mask, but to become the new NBW Tag-Team Champions. after jumping the challengers before the bell, it looked like everyone was going to finally get to see what Team X looked like without a mask. Treat & Cannon beat the hell out of Gryffon X, to the point that he could not even stand up on his own. Phoenix was on the outside the entire time, trying desperately to make the tag to his partner, but every time Gryffon would come close, Treat or Canon would cut him off. Gryffon actually made the tag a couple of times, but the referees back was turned so it didn't stand. After getting an energy burst, Gryffon ducked a clothesline from Cannon, and nailed a spinning heel kick and finally made the tag to Phoenix who came in and nailed both Treat & Cannon, and even knocked down their manager Buckwheat who was at ringside after he got on the apron. Connection quickly got the upper hand again and it was a 4 way brawl in the middle of the ring. after a miss-communication by Treat & Cannon that caused them to collide, Gryffon rolled up Cannon for the 3 to keep their identity in tact and become the new tag-team champs.

NBW Hardcore Championship
(C) Lil' Tim Alfonzo vs. Psycho vs. Void
what can be said about this match that cannot be said about any other hardcore match that involves 2 of the most deranged men in the mid-south. Void and Psycho are not strangers and Lil' Tim just added to the mix as these men used boards, road signs, a ladder, a shopping cart, barbed wire, thumbtacks and whatever else they could get ahold of. a 3/4 inch sheet of plywood came into play first as Void and Psycho took turns sending Lil' Tim head first into it, but it wouldn't break. I guess he don't weight enough! Then after Lil' Tim was out of the equation, Psycho and Void went at it nailing each other with STIFF punches that shook everybody that was watching. Psycho sent Void head first into the board and it cracked, causing Void to get cut. Lil' Tim was back in the ring by this time and Psycho put Void on top of the shopping cart and Lil' Tim came off with a splash across Voids back. Lil' Tim then started nailing Psycho with a Railroad sign causing Psycho to get busted open. Lil' Tim then broke out the thumbtacks, but got slammed on them for his troubles. Psycho then gave Void a suplex on the tacks. There was way too much to call everything, but at this point everyone was bleeding good. Towards the end of the match, Lil' Tim got power bombed on the tacks by Psycho. Void caught Psycho off guard and was hitting him with anything he could pick up. Psycho caught Void with a sign shot, Lil' Tim nailed Psycho sending him outside the ring, and Lil' Tim pinned Void to retain his Hardcore title, and escape within an inch of his life........CRAZY MF'RS

J.R. Manson (formerly Slim Pickens) beat "Upset Kid" Jeremy Moore to retain the NBW High Risk title. this match had pretty good heat, with Manson just turning heel, so Manson was using every cheap trick he knows. Moore had a couple of short lived comebacks, but Manson cut him right back off. At the end of the match, Moore was giving Manson hell and was setting him up for the "RKO", but Manson cut him off and went into his tights for a chain. The referee caught Manson and took the chain away. As the referee was giving the chain to one of NBW security, Jimmy Tidwell slipped Manson a pair of brass knucks, Manson nailed Moore and when the referee turned around Manson had Moore pinned to retain the High Risk Title, once again beating Jeremy Moore, who has lost his last 3 matches. "Upset Kid"?.......Not anymore.

Chris "Fabulous" Rocker & Motley Cruz defeated The Black Label Society(A.J. Bradley & Robbie Douglas) this match was all out and probably within the 2 best matches of the night. Rocker & Motley put BLS to the test, which surprisingly, they passed, for a short time. BLS quickly grew tired of taking a beating and resorted to double teaming taking the heat on Rocker. after several minutes went by, Rocker got the tag into Motley Cruz, who came in and cleaned house, giving BLS something else to complain about. In the end, it was Motley pinning Robbie giving BLS their first official loss in NBW.

"Real Deal" Tim Edwards beat "Southern Outlaw" Kilo in a "Fans Bring The Weapons Match" to become the new NBW Heavyweight Champion.
this match went all over the building, just like the last "FBTW", and believe me, the fans brought some weapons. Kilo started off dragging Edwards thru the crowd and hitting with everything the fans would hand out to him, until Edwards cut him off and gave Kilo a snakeyes on a wooden banister at the back of the building causing Kilo to become busted open. Edwards then drug the "Southern Outlaw" thru the crowd, working his way back to the ring, where Edwards started digging under the ring and found some of the goodies used in the hardcore match earlier in the night. Edwards brought out the board again, along with a chair and a couple of signs. Edwards set the board up in the corner and went to whip Kilo in, but Kilo reversed it and sent Edwards crashing thru it. It finally broke! Kilo went to whip Edwards off but it was reversed and when Kilo came back Edwards caught him with "REDRUM" for a double down. Edwards went to cover Kilo and got a 2 count. Nobody has ever kicked out of Edwards' finisher before....until now. Back to the floor again using more of the crowds bringings. They used an old mans cane, a woman's shoe and whatever they could get to try and secure an upper hand before it was back to the ring. Edwards had things going his way as he sent Kilo into the corner and went for a bug avalanche, but missed. Kilo caught him coming out with a spinning heel kick. By this time, Mark Justice made his way out to ringside as Kilo was headed to the top rope to deliver his signature frogsplash, Justice grabbed Kilo's daughter, who was at ringside cheering on her dad, by the hair which stopped Kilo in his tracks. Security had to restrain Kilo's wife Auburn and even his mother who was there as well. Kilo went outside the ring after Justice, who drug Kilo's daughter into the ring where Kilo followed. Edwards caught Kilo with "REDRUM" again as he was getting into the ring and became the new NBW Heavyweight champion. After the pin, Justice let the little girl go and Justice slithered his way out of the ring. Tank came out and tried to get Auburn and Kilo's mom calmed down and helped Kilo's daughter find her way back to her mother. As Edwards celebrated his tainted victory, Justice stuck around to give a few words to Kilo. Justice told Kilo that he was not after his belt, he proved that, but what he was after was Kilo's blood and his career. Kilo got the mic and told Justice "You can take whatever you want from me. My money, my title, even my life, but you never lay your damn hands on one of my kids!" "You made it personal you son of a bitch! You never touch one of my kids!" Kilo told Justice that he wasn't worried about that damn belt, he wanted Justice's ass and begged him to get in the ring. As NBW Security got in front of Justice, Kilo told Justice that he didn't have to wait for Mark to come to him, Kilo said I'll come get your sorry ass! Justice left as security stopped Kilo, who then went to check on his family.

Notes: Around 80 paying with a gate close to $500 with over 100 in the building with kids and give-a-ways.
Match of the night had to be Rocker & Motley/BLS, with the Main Event being very good & the Tank/Justice match.
Biggest pop of the night: Motley Cruz, Kilo & Tank
Most Heat: Justice/Edwards hands down
Rod Dent no showed. This was Treat & Cannons last night as they have taken bookings elsewhere.
