----The Memphis Wrestling TV this past Saturday scored a 4.0 with 66,652 viewers sliding into the 3rd highest showing of the year. If this trend continues then the 4th quarter of the year could be best ratings of the year. The last 6 weeks the show has been scoring about 10,000 more viewers on an average. Unless we see a huge decrease [and last year’s Thanksgiving rating only did only a 2.8], November will finish out as a good month for Memphis TV. It is funny how when you feature storylines and good wrestling that you actually get good ratings; weird huh?? The current crew of White, Starr, DK, Dotson, Brian C, Ali, TK2 and Tatt2 seem to be giving the audience what they want to watch. Where’s Lawler in the picture?? Well, the high rating on Saturday proved that people will watch the show without Lawler.
----Let’s look more at the actual show. The 6 man tag scored over 70,000 viewers to watch a real good match. Even though the retention level was 95% for the 3rd quarter and pretty much the same for the 4th quarter, they did lose viewers. OTV segment was good this week, but it looks like they started turning off the TV during that and just kept doing it. The show finished with over 3,000 less viewers that it started. Not a huge number of viewers, but everyone in TV will tell you – a show does not want to lose ANY viewers.
