----It has been confirmed by a few sources that Memphis Wrestling & Corey Maclin is in negotiations with MyNetworkTV affiliate WPXX Channel 50. I have looked over the schedule of the network and the good news is that it looks like they could return to their old time slot in the mornings. The bad news is that Channel 50 does not get the viewing audience like their current deal on Channel 30. I took a look at Channel 50 numbers in April, 2007 compared to Channel 50 and Channel 50 is actually watched by about 83% less people than Channel 30 on Saturdays. If Memphis Wrestling started to air on Channel 50 and got even their current ratings of 2.1, they would be one of the top rated programs on the network.
----I also was told by sources that Brian Christopher is being considered as the booker of the group, which is just mind boggling to me with his recent actions. I have also heard rumors that Brian may be taking advantage of the WWE offer of drug rehab from all former employees, which would be similar to the program that Jake Roberts and Sean Waltman attended. I have no first hand knowledge of Brian Christopher, but recent guys that have worked him have noted how they have had to carry him, because of his condition. I really hope this can all be cleared up before the start of a new Memphis show with him booking.
