----Jerry Lawler vs Andy Kaufman from Aug 05, 1982 was voted by the visitors of RRO as the Most Important Match in Memphis Wrestling history. I do consider it an important match as it brought Memphis Wrestling a lot of publicity. Andy Kaufman also was priceless in the role. The second most important match losing by only 6% was the Lawler vs Curt Hennig when Lawler won the belt. I consider this an important match, but no where near the Kaufman match. I think the wait for Lawler to win a real world title was too long and when he won it, either it did not mean nothing or “the chase” was over.
