It was announced today on the Chikara Pro Wrestling website that the Southern Saints have been added to Chikara Pro's 'King of the Trios' Tournament that will take place starting Feb. 29th through March 2nd at the New Alhambra Arena (the former ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennysylvania. The King of the Trios Tournament is a three man tag team tournament done annually in Chikara.

"The original configuration of SIE's Southern Saints first popped up on the CHIKARA radar back at our event "Maximum Overdraft" in August. But now that King of Trios has arrived, the stable has morphed into a new and improved unit. With Justin Reed back on the plantation enjoying the slower pace of clean Southern livin', the boys have drafted Marcus O'Neill into their group. While Marcus has appeared in places like IWA:Mid South and SACW before, the Southern Saints collective is known for capturing championships in Golden Triangle Wrestling as well as TFW (The Future of Wrestling). Will this latest version of the stable hold the key to trios success?"
