Anderson noted he has just signed a one-year deal with a New York agency to handle his wrestling bookings and help find him acting work. "I'm currently reading like five different scripts and auditioning for different roles," he said. "I truly feel that within the next year, I'll be able to land some roles. I think the more they get me, it's just the numbers game. Eventually, something will stick." He said he wouldn't entertain going back to WWE revealing he was mostly unhappy during the three years he worked for the company: "I'm not bitter about [his release]. I'm not sad about it or anything like that. It's something that happened and I'm happy to be gone. After I got the initial shock and the punch in the stomach, it was like an elephant just stepped off my chest. I was pretty unhappy there for about three years. I thought that I could used a different way and I wasn't. That's OK. That was their business decision. They decided not to go that way. That's fine. That's on them. Now, I'm going to try to stick it [to them] basically and prove them wrong. Hopefully, someday they'll look back and say '[expletive], we could have had that guy.'" Rhodes also talks about working in WWE creative and helping to develop new talent in FCW.
