I read with sadness that a trainee was substantially injured during a training session with a group I never heard of or even fathomed existed. Although I don't know the injured party, I want to send my wishes for a speedy recovery. Since I don't know the training party, this is not a personal attack directed to that person or persons by any means, but it gives me pause to ask a few basic questions??
Is,was,or were the trainers ever full time members of MY profession? If this recent incident here doesn't lend validity to my long standing stance that you shouldn't be "trained" by any outfit or person that hasn't made their living...full fucking time living....in this business, then common sense has left the fucking building. No doubt. Let me put this in all caps - just to be obnoxious about this...IF A MOTHER FUCKER NEVER MADE HIS 100% FULL TIME LIVING IN MY PROFESSION - HE OR SHE HAS NO BUSINESS TEACHING YOU HOW TO DO SOMETHING THEY HAVE NEVER DONE! PERIOD,EXCLAMATION POINT!!!!
How the fuck can somebody teach/train you how to do something that he or she has never done? Answer...they CAN'T! How many people get hurt at Ken Wayne's wrestling school? NONE! because...he knows what the fuck hes doing! If you are really serious about getting into this business,go see Ken Wayne. If you dont live near his school, go see Sir Mo.If you aren't near him. There's always Danny Davis, Lance Storm, Reno Riggins, Kevin White & Brian Christopher(who i have been told are rocking and rolling in the jackson area), Rodney Mack(i have heard he has been doing some training,im not sure..but if he is,he is a good candidate to train you)...and anybody who can guide you in the right direction without hurting you! There's one guy, who i will not name, who has been taking money from people in this area for about 30 f'n years who doesn't give a shit if you are one legged,blind,gay,straight,retarded,crippled, ugly,handsome,fat,skinny,paraplegic,etc....that everybody who I ever met from here who says they are a "wrestler"says they were trained by this person..well,figure it out. He wants your money. He wasn't that good in his prime - leave him alone.
And finally, check out the latest Wrestling News Center set of pics from some EPW or some such bullshit show, and pay attention to the pics...Does anybody pictured there even slightly look like they even DESERVE to make their living in this business? HELL F"N NO!!!! Look closely...elderly, infirm and just plain unappetizing to look at. These are NOT wrestlers These are goof balls who haven't got a fucking clue.
