----What is the reasonable ticket price for a wrestling show in this area?? This was the one of the largest number of participates in a poll. I was really surprised at the results. You people are cheapskates!! I am not sure if you feel wrestling is not worth any more than $5 [as in the quality of the show] or you just want a cheap price to get in. Sal Corrente noted to me in an IM that he had once thought about doing a wrestling convention in Memphis and was told not to and maybe this is a good indication to why he was told that. It also lets you know that promoters and wrestlers in this area can not make a living at just wrestling. There were at least 24% of you that agreed with me at $7. Think about this – if you have a crowd of 200 people and charge $5 – that is a gate of $1000. If you charge $7, that is a gate of $1,400. $400 could buy you an extra “special” worker or even give your top tier of guys an extra bonus for the night. Even at the average 100 people in the crowd gives you an extra $200, which would maybe give five top guys $40.

No, it did not hurt Memphis Wrestling it helped them because Hogan was on the show. Or, the show had no effect on Memphis Wrestling – the product is to blame for the low crowds & ratings.
